As we approach Christmas, I feel inspired to write this blog. The creation of my memoir, “Shake the Dust Off Your Feet and Walk,” emerged from my shattered heart—a painful journey that led to a place of healing and joy. Today's blog comes from a place of peace and gratitude.
The passion of my heart is to share my experiences and encourage those who are in darkness and feel alone during this time. I want to remind them that there is hope, strength, and power within each of us that carries us through.
Life can bring both joy and numerous challenges, including grief, pain, suffering, and loss of health. As we approach Christmas, our emotions can intensify—whether it is joy in preparing for the birth of our Lord or sorrow from the absence of loved ones or the triggering of painful memories. Remember, you are not alone, and do not give up; peace and hope are waiting for you.
Through my journey from being an ex-nun to where I am today, I realize I had to go through all the pain and suffering so I could experience the true meaning of Christmas: the birth of our Lord Jesus and the freedom within my heart that allows me to celebrate and express gratitude. Know that this can happen for you as well.
I encourage you to check out my memoir, “Shake the Dust Off Your Feet and Walk,” available on Amazon. Discover how God has worked through my life and continues to do so, allowing me to truly celebrate the meaning of Christmas with family and friends today.
Merry Christmas! Know that God is with you as well

Forever grateful,
Gina
