Every morning, I wake up feeling thankful for being alive, for my sobriety, and for

having God in my life; everything else is an added blessing. Brian, along with his sobriety, is also a blessing in my life.
"When the right time was right, I was introduced to his family, his sons and former wife. It was amazing how they welcomed me. The kindness and acceptance they showed me was appreciated. When his former wife entered the rooms of AA, we knew what a blessing this was for everyone. We share the common denominator that we are alcoholics, living life free from alcohol and drama daily"-insert from my memoir, "Shake the Dust Off Your Feet and Walk" available on amazon
Thanks to the gifts of sobriety, Brian brought us all to Ireland. Although it wasn't

on my bucket list, it was Brian's dream to take us to Dromoland Castle. The trip was enjoyable and free of drama. We experienced the beauty of Ireland, which was both peaceful and welcoming. I have much to be thankful for. Walking with God as a sober woman of faith gives me plenty of reasons to be grateful.
We all encounter life's challenges. In my memoir, "Shake the Dust Off Your Feet and Walk," I shared my most profound pain and struggles, as well as my moments of joy and peace. Today is one of those joyful moments. Beyond anything I could have imagined, I was able to visit Ireland as a sober woman of faith and grace, accompanied by Brian and his family including his former wife. God is good.
I encourage all of us to continue to shake the dust off our feet and walk with gratitude, knowing that peace and joy await us. Anything is possible with God.
Forever Grateful
Gina
